François Roca, Children's Book Illustrator

François Roca has illustrated more than twenty books, most of them written by the French author Fred Bernard. Their first book, La reine des fourmis a disparu, was awarded several prizes in France. Roca has published five books in the U.S. including Soar, Elinor and Twenty-One Elephants and Still Standing, which focuses on American history. Roca’s sophisticated oil painting techniques, and the accompanying texts appeal to both children and adult audiences.

François Roca will be at the Alliance Française in downtown Minneapolis to present his work in French and will be available for book signing.
