We are seeking for engaging, energetic, passionate, and effective bilingual and bicultural teachers for the School year 2017-2018
You will be expected to:

• establish developmentally appropriate instructional and behavioral expectations for students and communicates expectations to students and their families.
• create lessons and learning environments that are safe, respectful, and interesting as well as multicultural/gender/ability fair.
• select, adapt and individualize materials appropriate for diverse student populations and skills.
• use a variety of teaching strategies such as group work, lecture, mini-lessons, exploration, questioning, discussion, and other cooperative teaching techniques.
• develop and maintain long range and daily instructional plans.
• teach students the required curricula using strategies that foster thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving.
• promote problem-solving, cooperative skills and conflict resolution strategies.
• teach Science to elementary grades.
• communicates effectively with parents and teachers, as well as be able to lead parent conferences in English and Spanish.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Hold either the Bilingual/Bicultural license or have passed the ACTFL exam at an "advanced" or "superior" level.
